Hand Drum synth
Tuned membrane-percussion synth — covers djembe, conga, bongo, tabla, udu, and tonal log-drum tones via a single resonator-based engine. Switch a track to Hand Drum for African / Latin / Eastern percussion that responds to per-step pitch like a synth (no sample packs needed).
Knobs
- Pitch / Tune — fundamental of the membrane.
- Tone — sweep between bass-tone (open hand) and slap (rim crack).
- Damp — resonator decay; shorter = closed-hand mute, longer = open-tone ring.
- Body / Air — body resonance + air-cavity contribution; varies the timbre across djembe / conga / udu families.
TipPer-step pitch is gold here — drag steps vertically to tune a melodic tabla phrase or a 4-note djembe pattern. Hand Drum + arpeggiator = long melodic percussion lines.
