Link keeps Sonyk's tempo locked to other Link-enabled apps and hardware on the same network — start it, and every device shares one clock and one downbeat. Launches are quantized, so joining a session lands you on the session's 1 rather than wherever you happened to press play.
Heads-upWhile Link is on it owns transport and tempo. For an internet session with a collaborator, turn Link off so the session clock is the only authority.
