The Mode toggle in the transport bar picks one of two playback strategies:

• Scene — the active pattern loops forever. Click another slot to queue a switch at the next bar boundary. Great for live performance.
• Song — playback follows the arrangement timeline. Pattern blocks fire in sequence; loop region (if any) wraps the timeline.
