DJ mode
Switch the view mode (top of the transport, leftmost picker) to DJ and Sonyk transforms into a dual-deck mixer. Two completely independent decks, each with their own pattern bank, step grid, library, and selected sample pack — playing simultaneously, blended via the crossfader.
NoteOn Vision Pro the same two decks are physical strips either side of you, with the EQs and crossfader on their own board between them — see Sonyk Vision.
Layout
- Side-by-side — both decks visible at once (default). Best on wide displays.
- Tabbed — one deck at a time, switch via [Deck A | Deck B] tabs. Toggle the layout via the icon at the top-right of the DJ view. Mobile DJ defaults to tabbed.
Mixer strip
- Crossfader at the top — drag to blend, double-click to center.
- Per-deck: gain, EQ low / mid / high, filter (LP below 0.5, HP above), cue toggle.
- Cue → output — pick a separate audio device for the cue bus (headphones), so you can monitor the inactive deck before bringing it in.
Per-deck sample packs
Each deck activates its own sample pack independently. Pick a pack inside Deck A's library tab → only Deck A hears that override. Pick a different one for Deck B → both packs run at once. See Sample packs for setup details.
