The Envelope tab shapes the amp envelope of sampler tracks. (Synth tracks have their own envelopes inside the Synth tab — the Envelope tab is hidden for them.) Four stages:

• Attack 0–500 ms — fade-in. 0 = instant punch.
• Hold 0–5 s — peak hold before decay starts.
• Decay 0–5 s — exponential fall toward silence.
• Release 0–10 s — final tail beyond the decay end.

The envelope multiplies the sample's playback gain. Velocity scales the envelope peak via the velocitySensitivity knob.
